Tour Overview

The Scottish Highlands is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring landscapes in the world. Our 5-day Scottish Highlands Experience takes you deep into this wild and ancient land — a place of misty mountains, dark glens, shimmering lochs, and centuries of proud history. Whether you're a history enthusiast, nature lover, or simply seeking adventure, this tour has it all.

Your journey begins in Inverness, the cultural capital of the Highlands and the perfect gateway to all that lies beyond. Nestled on the banks of the River Ness, this charming city will set the mood for the days ahead. On Day 2, you'll travel along the shores of Loch Ness — the legendary home of Nessie — where the dark, vast waters have mystified travellers for centuries. Visit Urquhart Castle, one of Scotland's most romantic ruins, dramatically positioned on the lochside.

Day 3 brings you to one of Scotland's most photographed castles: the fairy-tale Eilean Donan, standing on a small island where three great sea lochs meet. Surrounded by rugged mountains, it's a truly unforgettable sight. Day 4 is dedicated to the pleasures of Scotland's most famous export — whisky. Join a guided distillery tour and tasting session, learning about the art of single malt production from grain to glass.

The tour culminates on Day 5 with a visit to the Isle of Skye, a place of raw, otherworldly beauty. The Cuillin mountain range, the Quiraing, and the Fairy Pools are just some of the natural wonders awaiting you. This is the Scotland of legend — a landscape that will stay with you long after you return home.

Throughout the tour, stay in characterful Highland lodges and guesthouses, and enjoy hearty Scottish breakfasts to fuel your adventures.

Day 2 — Loch Ness & The Great Glen

Travel the legendary Loch Ness, the UK's largest body of fresh water by volume. Visit Urquhart Castle — one of Scotland's most dramatic ruins — and learn about its turbulent history. Cruise on the loch and keep your eyes peeled for Nessie. Afternoon at leisure on the loch shores.

Day 3 — Eilean Donan Castle

Drive through breathtaking Highland scenery to reach Eilean Donan Castle, perhaps the most photographed castle in Scotland. Tour the castle interior with its rich Jacobite history before enjoying the surrounding landscape.

Day 4 — Whisky Tasting

Today is all about Scotland's "water of life". Visit a working Highland distillery for a guided tour behind the scenes — from malting and mashing to fermentation and distillation. Cross the Skye Bridge to the mystical Isle of Skye — the jewel of the Scottish Hebrides.
